A new era of CheckSix Call of Duty kicks off this CWL 2018 season, with a brand new Call of Duty WWII team.

CheckSix saw much success with a dominant Call of Duty II (PC) team that boasted 13 championships and numerous Top 3 finishes across multiple years. With multiple Fragzilla, iGames and CAL Invite titles, CheckSix was regarded as a Top 3 North American ranking, with notable stars: John “panther” DiSantis, David “skinz” Patnode, and Alex “Nailer” Rocha.

Our organization is happy to return to the competitive Call of Duty scene and are thrilled to be able to welcome the following players to the CheckSix family:

  • Aaron “CMPLX” Vetelino
  • Brandon “Ghoster” Mestas
  • Tom “Legend” Bennett
  • Jonathan “Ronin” Conklin

The team has already seen success with a T16 finish at last week’s MLG GameBattles 2K 11-26-2017, and will be competing through the Open Bracket at the upcoming MLG Call of Duty World League (CWL) Open in Dallas, Texas. The CWL Dallas Open event will be held from December 8-10 at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson convention center and is the last chance to secure CWL Pro Points to qualify for Stage 1 of the CWL Global Pro League.

The tournament will have 16 teams starting in round-robin Pool Play and will be joined by the Top 8 teams out of a 160-team Open Bracket double-elimination brawl, to round out the 24 team Championship Bracket. All these teams will be competing for their chance at glory, placement into the CWL Global Pro League and a $200,000 prize pool.

We’re excited as to what this new chapter holds, we hope you are too.
